Intro to Mindful Breath with Allie.

This workshop will explore how purposeful practices with our breath can affect our mood, sleep, and even the regulation of our nervous system.

Join Allie for a big pot of tea, a few light snacks, and lots of space for your breath. We will be on the floor of the studio, so please bring your mat, a cushion, fuzzy socks, blanket, journal and anything else you need to feel comfy.

Some Sort of Spark - Therapist Retreat.

Somewhere, in the heart of Muskoka, lives a place where the doing stops getting done.

A place hidden in the sweet silence of winter where thoughts about waitlists and caseloads are insulated by snow. A place with soft light, soft blankets and food built for comfort. A place where you can gaze out over the water and wait for some sort of spark to reignite itself in your body.

If you’ve been searching for a place like this, here’s the pitch:

From January 26th-28th, don’t take care of yourself. We want to do it for you. We want to feed you scones and loose-leaf tea. We want you to look at the lake and have that feeling in your spirit that only nature can give. We want to create that soft place for you to land so you can remember who you are for a while.

Of course there will be all the gentle yoga, meditation, reflection, workshops, and food. But there will also be no pressure. No performance or perfection. You don’t have to learn anything. You don’t have to do anything. You could nap in your room all weekend, and no one would bat an eye. (Though we highly recommend not skipping the scones).

Come be with the water, and the soft blankets, and the salt lamps. Come be among other valiant humans who choose to care deeply as a profession.
